The Moonshot Intensive
For a founder or family group ready to declare a twenty-year objective and build the architecture underneath it.
Banded by group size and whether capital architecture is in scope. Bands as at 26 August 2026.
For a founder or a family principal who already has the capital and the appetite, and needs the ladder.
This is not for organisations still deciding whether a long objective is worth having. It is for the ones who have decided and cannot get the structure to hold.
A moonshot with a ladder under it and a business that pays for it is not a gamble. It is a schedule.
An enormous ambition with no ladder under it is not a strategy, it is a mood — and it will be quietly abandoned inside three years without anyone naming the moment. The failure is almost never courage. It is that nobody derived the rungs backwards from the objective, nobody identified which rung is the gate, and nobody arranged a cash business to pay for the climb. So the ambition and the P&L run on separate tracks until one of them wins, and it is never the ambition.
Phase by phase.
Published in full, because a curriculum that cannot be published is not a curriculum. The order matters more than any individual phase.
Do You Actually Have a Moonshot?
The Chapter 17 test, run properly, on your actual objective. Most groups discover in week one that they hold an aspiration, not an objective. That is a useful week.
The ladder, derived backwards
From the objective, not from today. Each rung named, each rung with a mechanism, each rung dated.
The gating rung
The one rung that, unbuilt, makes every rung above it unreachable. Identify it, fund it, and stop pretending the others are equally urgent.
Cost-curve ratios
What has to get cheaper, by how much, by when — and whether anything in the world is currently on that curve.
Mountain selection with correlation audit
Which hard ventures build a rung you will need, and which are simply interesting. The correlation audit kills the ones that fail together.
Milk selection on the Transfer Test
Which cash business supplies capital, datasets and reference clients to the layers above it — and which merely makes money.
The Coherence Matrix
Every asset scored against the objective. The number is uncomfortable the first time. It is supposed to be.
Capital architecture and three constitutions
How the money moves between layers, and the three governing documents that stop the next generation renegotiating the objective every March.
Named artefacts, not a feeling.
Each of these is a physical output with an owner and an as-at date on it. If the programme ends and you do not hold all of them, it did not finish.
No published case yet. Said plainly.
This practice was founded in 2026. Where a client has consented, the case is named and published. Where consent does not exist, nothing anonymous is offered in its place — an unnamed case study is not evidence, it is decoration.
What is checkable today is the operating record on The Portfolio: the frameworks run on live organisations I founded, and you can look at those organisations.
Founded 2026. Here is everything, including what I got wrong.
Start with what you already hold.
There is no application fee and no discovery call script. Four questions, honestly answered, tell me whether this is the right altitude — and I will say so if it is not.
Questions about The Moonshot Intensive
Answered plainly, with the real figures. If something here is wrong, tell us and it goes in the log.
₹45L to ₹2cr, banded by group size and by whether capital architecture is in scope. The band is published as at 26 August 2026 rather than quoted on request, because "contact for pricing" reads to a family office as the price depends on how rich you look. The programme runs six months as a closed cohort, combining in-person intensives with fortnightly working sessions.
For a founder or a family principal who already has the capital and the appetite, and needs the ladder. It is not for organisations still deciding whether a long objective is worth having; it is for the ones who have decided and cannot get the structure to hold. Selection logic runs backwards from the Moonshot, and capital runs forwards from the Milk.
Six months, run as a closed cohort of six organisations a year — in-person intensives plus fortnightly working sessions. Elango delivers it directly, with Coherence Matrix modelling support from StartNet, which he founded. Applications are four questions rather than a discovery-call script, and every one gets a reply within five working days, including the ones that say no.
Four named artefacts, each with an owner and an as-at date: a one-page portfolio with a named mechanism in every row; a funded gating rung with an owner and a date; a governance instrument, the constitution that outlives the meeting; and a scored Coherence Matrix carrying its as-at date. If the programme ends without all four, it did not finish.
Both come from Milk, Mountain, Moonshot, but they answer different questions. The Coherence Audit is an eight-to-twelve-week board-level diagnostic of what a group already holds, ending in a ranked list of what to stop. The Moonshot Intensive is a six-month build: the objective, the ladder derived backwards, the funded gating rung, and the capital architecture underneath it.
Wrong height for your problem?
Six programmes, one per altitude. Using the wrong one looks like progress for about two years.
