Conversations with people who made something certain.
Founders, chairmen, and one recurring format: show me your portfolio and I’ll show you what it’s actually optimising for. Nobody comes on to promote anything.

Questions about The Inevitable (the show)
Answered plainly, with the real figures. If something here is wrong, tell us and it goes in the log.
Monthly. Five episodes are published, running from 39 to 61 minutes, the most recent dated 18 August 2026. Each is released as audio with a full transcript. New episodes are announced in the newsletter first, which is sent every Tuesday at 07:00 IST.
Guests are named where they have consented and described by role and city where they have not, which is why several episodes are credited to, for example, a COO of an engineering group in Pune. No episode is published without the guest reading the transcript first, including the parts they got wrong.
Show me your portfolio and I will show you what it is actually optimising for. A guest describes their group in about ninety seconds and it is read back to them. In episode five, a second-generation textile principal in Tirupur found that what his seven businesses optimise for was not what he thought.
No. Nobody comes on to promote anything. The episodes are organised by the five altitudes of the Elango Stack, Portfolio, Architecture, Compounding, Truth and Entry, and the subjects are structural rather than promotional: an approval layer nobody could name, eleven pilots and nothing in production, a board metric nobody could source.
